Enjoy Hönö and island life when the ice creaks, the first rays of spring warm us, the rocks are hot or the autumn storms is around us. Throughout the year, we offer a package with accommodation and breakfast at Havskatten Hotell & Vandrarhem and the three-course dinner "Vinga menu" at Tullhuset Restaurang.

Come and stay with us, in one of our lovely rooms, when you visit the Öckerö islands. We have 12 rooms, all situated just a few meters from the jetty.

How to get here
By Car
From Gothenburg city center you can reach Hönö by car in about 40 minutes. Follow road 155 towards Öckerö to arrive at the Lilla Varholmen ferry landing. Take the ferry to Öckerö. Follow “Göteborgsvägen 155” from the ferry port to the first roundabout, drive straight ahead and follow the road until you see ICA on your left, turn right and after about 200 meters you will find Havskatten on the right.
By Public Transport
Several Västtrafik buses depart from central Gothenburg and out to the Öckerö islands. Röd Express goes from Central Station to Lilla Varholmen ferry landing, where you can catch the ferry out to Öckerö. Or take bus 290 from Nils Ericson terminal all the way to the islands and get off at Hönö Norra. The journey takes about 40 minutes. See Västtrafik's own travel planner for exact times.
