Our tips
Play Boule
Fun activity where everyone can join in! The boules course is right outside Havskatten. We have a simple boules set that you can borrow.
Bouldering
Hönö Röds cliffs in the Ersdalen nature reserve area, are said to be a world-class bouldering site. The exciting granite cliffs attract many free-climbers for a memorable experience with a fantastic view of Kattegat/Skagerrak. Climbing season is all year round. There are plenty of nice sunny places for climbing even in the middle of winter. You will also find about four hundred "problems “ in this area. Keep in mind that Ersdalen is a nature reserve, so please be considerate towards birds and wildlife.
More info can be found on the Gothenburg Bouldering Online (GBO)’s website.

Rich bird life
The bird life on the islands is noticeable in the nature reserves and around the shallow coves. In Ersdalens nature reserve area there is a hide that attracts many ornithologists.
